1.Introduction

With the increasingly stringent requirements for power supply quality in high-end facilities such as precision manufacturing, medical diagnosis, and data centers, traditional power monitoring systems, due to their low sampling accuracy and weak data analysis capabilities, can no longer meet the demand for deep insight and precise management of power quality. In response, we are introducing a new generation ​High-Precision Electrical Parameter Monitoring System. With ​millisecond-level accuracy in electrical parameter acquisition and analysis​ at its core, this system is dedicated to providing unprecedented visibility, control, and security for critical electrical loads.

2. System Core Positioning

The core positioning of this system is to build a ​millisecond-level accuracy electrical parameter acquisition and analysis platform. It not only performs basic parameter measurements like voltage, current, and power but also delves into capturing subtle, transient disturbances within the power grid. This enables "CT-like" precise diagnosis of power quality, providing a solid data foundation for predictive maintenance and root cause analysis of faults.

3. System Technical Architecture

To ensure the realization of its core positioning, this system adopts a technical architecture that combines leading hardware design with advanced software algorithms.

  • High-Performance Hardware Acquisition Layer:
    • Core Chip:​ Utilizes industrial-grade ​24-bit high-precision ADCs (Analog-to-Digital Converters), providing extremely high dynamic range and measurement accuracy.
    • Sampling Rate:​ Supports synchronous sampling at up to ​1 MS/s (1 Million Samples per second), enabling accurate reproduction of power waveform details and laying the groundwork for high-frequency harmonic and transient event analysis.
    • Sensors:​ Paired with high-precision Current Transformers (CTs) and voltage sensors to ensure authenticity at the source of signal acquisition.
  • Intelligent Data Processing and Analysis Layer:
    • Anti-Interference Filtering Algorithm:​ Incorporates advanced digital filtering algorithms to effectively suppress high-frequency noise interference in complex industrial electromagnetic environments, ensuring extreme reliability and authenticity of the acquired data.
    • Real-Time Edge Computing:​ Performs preliminary real-time calculation and analysis at the data acquisition terminal, reducing the central server's burden and enabling immediate triggering and recording of critical events.

  1. Harmonic Source Analysis (Harmonic Tracing)
    • Description:​ Through high-speed spectral decomposition of current and voltage waveforms, it precisely measures harmonic components up to the 50th order and beyond. The system can not only display Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) but also, through trend comparison and pattern recognition, ​precisely locate​ the non-linear loads causing harmonic pollution (such as variable frequency drives, UPSs, precision medical imaging equipment, etc.).

The system records the event's time of occurrence, magnitude, duration, and saves the complete waveform before and after the event.

    • Description:​ The system strictly adheres to the measurement methods for power quality parameters (e.g., supply voltage, frequency, flicker, unbalance) outlined in the ​IEC 61000-4-30 Class A​ standard for assessment.
